You wouldn't display sapphires on a blue cloth, would you?? (No, cuz that'd be silly :P) So don't wear blue eyeshadow, it will make your eyes look dull.

I am blonde/blue eyed myself and deep, rich gold colours look awesome on me, I'm sure that they will work for you too.

Right now I'm wearing the limited edition revlon molten metal liquid eyeshadow, in Bronze Bomber, it's a GREAT colour! Much more gold than bronze. (I don't mean to plug any particular brand, I just really, really love this shade and it makes my eyes look super intense.)

Thats what you should stick to, warm sand-y brown-ish gold-y tones. Not boring old blue or green.

These colours also go great with our blonde hair, highlighting it nicely.

Purples are good, the light shimmery kind, and natural colors are nice like a bronze, or several shades of green. There are some color pallets that you can find in the store that are put together for your specific eye color i have a few myself and they work very well.

what you want to do is to emphasize or bring out your blue eyes more, and blue eyeshadow does not do that. you want to break the monotony of "blueness" in your eyes, and you can acheive that by wearing shades of brown that are fit for your skin tone.

if you're aiming for a natural look, go easy with the eyeshadow. if you want a dramatic effect, you can apply a darker shade of brown on the area where your eyelids are closest to your lashes, then don't forget to apply it to your creases as well. gradually go lighter as you go upward. for a night out, you can apply liquid eyeliner on the rims of your eyes for a smoky, sexy, and sultry look.

*tip: try to make the rest of your makeup simple. go easy on the blush and lippie. a sheer pink tint may look good on you.

i would go for some green

it would bring your eye out more use a little dark green to start you off on your lids and then build it up with some lighter green.

also use black eye liner on your bottom lid to make your eye look sharper

I have this cool eyeshadow from Almay ( intense i-color powder shadow trio for blues 102) and it consists of a bronzy copper color to but over the eyelid closest to the lashes, a dark blue to put on the crease, and a light blue to put near the brow.
